Lay Down
Im turning numb
Eyes fear the sun
Rotting in this house alone,
This concrete womb...
Its door has become my stone
I lay entombed...
I drink my fill
Feed myself guilt
In this solitairy cage I made,
These chains I bare...
Myself whom I cant escape,
Yet I dont seem to care...
By the way, do I need to pray?
My lazy mind procrastinates...
But someday soon I'll be okay
It just wont be today...
Eyes fear the sun
Rotting in this house alone,
This concrete womb...
Its door has become my stone
I lay entombed...
I drink my fill
Feed myself guilt
In this solitairy cage I made,
These chains I bare...
Myself whom I cant escape,
Yet I dont seem to care...
By the way, do I need to pray?
My lazy mind procrastinates...
But someday soon I'll be okay
It just wont be today...
