    Ferral
    Long...
    Long are the days
    Cold...
    In so many ways
    I said I'd be stronger than this
    I said I'd be stronger...
    Pick yourself up boy, go on now
    The road still winds on longer
    Put one foot forward, then another and go
    Yes your'e hurt, don't let it show
    dont let them Know...
    They'll use it against you
    They'll use it to hurt you
    Deliver the final blow
    Don't run scared now 
    No time to lick the wounds
    Pour salt on them, cauterize 
    Let the pain ring on true
    The burn will help you feel alive
    Because pain is better than numbness
    It will keep you tense inside
    Selfless - bound by instinct
    You need to be
    Just this once, and maybe forever more 
    Selfish, ferral, out for the score
    Bleeding animal, wounded predator
    Lies turned me into this 
    I hate people, they just cant resist
    They take and they lie and they rape and they steal
    They trample on the good and the kind and the real
    Damn it all, If I ever let a single one in again
    I will kill... I will.
    Out for my own now, I'll rip this heart out and tear it to pieces
    Its done nothing but hold me back, and hurt me, don't need it
    I'll still laugh, I'll still smile, I'll still be 
    But without pain, without love, without fear
