    Empty Inside
    Day in, day out, I put on a smile
    Pressured to perform cuz im always on trial
    All I really have is my waivering pride
    Its struggling to hold on cuz im empty inside
     
    Beaten, bruised, erroded yet still I try
    To make a decent living here before I die
    Just another slave in the modern day grind
    It doesnt mean shit, cuz im empty inside
     
    Im empty inside, detached and far away...
    I want to roam with the wind, but life has got me chained...
    Oh I hate livin' this way...
     
    Everything's hazy and everythings numb
    No, it aint the drugs, I quit being dumb
    Outa' my body, and Outa my mind
    A shell without a core cuz im empty inisde
     
    Im empty inside, detached and far away...
    I want to roam with the wind, but life has got me chained...
    Oh I hate livin' this way...
    Said I hate livin'  this way...
