    Dead Man Walking

Its amazing how some things change
Overnight, or maybe Im the one who's blind?
So many chances to make things right
Yet you wont change, I guess your just out of your mind

    You know better than everyone
You walk around oblivious to consequence
Had enough of your lies, Im done
Dont care bout what you have to say in your defense

You cant spend your life running away
You cant talk yourself outa your problems
Nobody wants to listen to what you say
Yeah, you've got issues, I suggest that you solve them

    Instead of runnin away
    How far can you get?
    Have you no regrets?
    Ignore all your debts
    You never really start anew
    You will never learn
    Always speak out of turn
    Every bridge that youv'e burned
You've put your head in your own noose

All this time that I've let shit slide
You've gotten by on wasting everybodys time
Now you've run out of places to hide
And I am coming to get whats mine

Whats been written's been penned in blood
I never thought tjat you could be so self absorbed
Should have listened, I wish I understood
To all the ones that you have left scorned

You cant spend your life running away
You cant talk yourself outa your problems
Nobody wants to listen to what you say
Yeah, you've got issues, I suggest that you solve them

    Instead of runnin away
    How far can you get?
    Have you no regrets?
    Ignore all your debts
    You never really start anew
    You will never learn
    Always speak out of turn
    Every bridge that youv'e burned
You've put your head in your own noose

    True True True

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
