Dry Blood
For five long years, I've fought tooth and nailBut every turn I took saw me fail
Cut up and torn inside
From slivers of my broken pride
My past, added up, tells quite the twisted tale
It would probably make most stories pale
Somehow I took it in stride
Even tough I know a part of me died
Every time...
That I was forsaken
Every time...
That I was betrayed
Every time...
I learned that I was mistaken
I turned my back, spit blood and walked away
No longer weak, no longer blind
No longer sick, no longer tired
I've found my peace, yeah, Im on a roll
Lifestyle increase, I've purged my soul
