LIE BETWEEN
Balance yourself from living on the edge
Create your spectrum and mold a scene
Turn the sands of time and clear your head
Beware of what you may lie between
An ecstatic mother about to give life
Or the hint of harm to her offspring
A loving husband and his beautiful wife
Or a bride from her new wedding ring
Take heed to what this may mean
Beware of what you may lie between
A colossal rock and undeniable hard place
The bond between two brothers of blood
An unwarrantable lie just to save face
Or the immediate hands of sand or mud
Take regard to all of these you have seen
Beware of what you may lie between
The salient hand of justice and law
Or the distinction of your heart or mind
The gap connecting your snout and jaw
And the truth within you’re trying to find
Most significantly don’t deny your hand
Stay sharp and keep your thoughts clean
Be strong and know how to take a stand
And always beware of what you may lie between
