    Spirit

    Ghostly stares in the wind
a ghastly figure is around the bend.
    Watching ones every move
the Witches chant is in the groove
churning and turning they did grind
Just to see what trouble they could find
    Whispering winds far and wide
Wanting to speed to the other side.
The ending is oh so near
But of course there is nothing to fear
That ghastly figure is still around
Keeping an eye on us earthly bound

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
