    Poem Commentary

I can't sleep so I make up silly poems.

    Insomnia

    falling, spiraling out of control
spinning and swirling in the wind
the darkness will soon take me again
wishing that my brain will freeze
so that I may become at ease
tossing and turning and snoring aloud
this endless mind will not turn it down
Soon the darkness will turn to light
but I still can not sleep at night

Little blue pill take me away
so that I may sleep for half a day

My problem is I start thinking too much and can't sleep, Being unemployed is so hard right now and writing is a way for me to express my frustrations.

The voice here defines the demon insomnia's hold well enough... but, I would have enjoyed seeing the demon personalized, give this story a hero, or some kind of back-drop moral for being there, other than it's a not-so-nice thing which has laid claim to a hapless victim's consciousness... Still, a good write...

This is no demons just feelings sorry

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
