Cruel Fate Of Survival

No love for the loveless
No aide for the needy
Only pain and suffering
Brought on by the greedy
No shoulder to cry on
No help is around
Only to be pushed down
And kicked to the ground
We say where a great nation
To the homeless we just walk by
Trying to staring straight ahead
Dont look at them in the eye
If we cannot see them
Then truelly its not real
So easy to ignore
Better then to have to feel
Please stop begging
No money do we plan to give
So many wrong perceptions
Such a hard way of life to live
No shelter to protect
From the cold winter nights
Survival is a question
Not a God given right
No holidays or birthdays
Do they celebrate
Just a hope of tomorrow
In surviving their fate
So many different reasons
For having to live on the street
Just the same goals in common
To stay warm and find something to eat
But back to my audience
Its to you, who I do write
Do you have any real compassion
To the homeless plight
If so what do you plan to offer
What help are you willing to give
Or will you just watch their cruel fate of survival
Waiting for them to no longer live?
