    Loss

    There is no greater pain
Then the loss of a child
    Life is so confusing
    As emotions run wild
So gentle and sweet they look
    As they permentaly sleep
    Tears roll down our face
    As we openly weep
The last time we kiss them
    As we say goodbye
We say we will allways miss them
    As we still cry
    Goodbye sweet child
We will miss you with great pain
    Tears crashing down
    Falling like rain
    The family rallies around
Telling us it will be OK
Truth is it will never be
    Since you have gone away
    Devasted we watch
As they lower you in to the ground
Life for a moment stops to exist
Knowing you will no longer be around

I have lost two daughters of my own. One when she was 7 and my other almost 4 months ago. Your poem reached out to me. No it never is okay but I do promise it does get a little easier. May GOD bless you.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
