Father Of Nothing

Father Of Nothing

Holy rosary
Better count your beads
Your illusion is ending
No way to hide your misdeeds

Your use your religion
As a smoke screen to cover your acts
Countless explations and excuses
Don't add up to the facts

Spouting false faith
Living a lie
The church a crime scene
Shocked victims can just cry

The truth so shattering
Your earth just crashes with a loud thud
Parents now protecting their children
Screaming for your blood

Father of nothing
Defrocked and brought down
Despictable slithering serpent
God looking on you with a frown

Satan sits there laughing
Welcoming you to his fold
To hell you go roasting
Your black heart so cold

D.B. Johnson

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
