    Stormy Emotions

Life like the wind is it blows
Deep in my mind it snows
Heavy dewed hearted with all my thoughts
Tears dried up within the droughts
Whirl wind losing someone on whom you depend
Stormy it has come to a end

How could you have done this
Those nasty things you did and said
We could have made it better
But you chose hurt us instead
    You lied and you cheated
    You tore this thing apart
    Your actions really stunned us
Like a arrow through the heart

    Angry here comes the rain
    Flooding deep within the pain
    Lightening eluminates the night
Thunder clasp a jump in fright
Hailing at the loss of you
Sunshine wont make the sky turn blue

How could of you have done this
Those nasty things you did and said
We could have made it better
But you chose to hurt us instead
    You lied and you cheated
    You tore this thing apart
    Your actions really stunned us
Like a arrow through the heart

    Mud slides have taken away
Rainbows for a brighter new day
Sleet has turned your heart cold
Freezing emotions have made us really old
Slight mist oh crap hear comes the tears
Maybe a hurricane will to forget you through the years

How could have you done this
Those nasty things you did and said
We could have made it better
But you chose to hurt us instead
    You lied and you cheated
    You tore this thing apart
    Your actions really stunned us
Like a arrow through the heart
Just know we don't need you
    It's better off this way
    Those stormy emotions
Will follow you through your days

you write great poetry and I can really tell that you have been through a lot of pain.I hope your pain gets better as life goes on, as I have been through a lot as well I get very depressed just pray that we will all have a brighter future. Desperado

Another great poem. You have either had some training in poetry writing or you have read a lot of poetry. I like the use of refrain and the end rhyme. And I love poems that leave a question in the reader's mind--at first I thought that when you said "you chose to hurt us" you meant you and your love. But, then, in the last stanza, you write "Just know we don't need you". Is the "we" you and a child? Great poem, great ending. Oh, my favorite line is "Slight mist oh crap hear comes the tears" the word play with the word "hear" is very clever, those kind of tears really can be heard. May God bless you as your tears disappear

You hit the nail on the head dude!!

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
