To All My Brothers (Family) In Arms
I remember when we where kidsAll the fun we enjoyed
Your now in in harms way
Please be safe now that your deployed
Time of fun and safety moves to fast
You have been sent of to war
Memories come creeping back
Wish life could be like it was before
There is nothing I can say
No words to describe
The honor of being your family
What you do fills me with pride
Please home safe
With your family is your place
Do what you need to do
It's time for your country
But your family needs you to
In our youth
We would laugh and run
Pretend we where in battle
Play with toys guns
Now your in harms way
The bullets a real
The jobs not done
Your my hero is the best way to describe how I feel
The past was so simple
But now we are older
No longer kids
Your a husband, father, soldier
Time went to fast
As I look back at the years
Just remember as you fight
You will be in my thoughts and prayers
