Leaving On A Jetplane
Hugs are given to those who will be missed.
A tender kiss is shared by two souls
Who will be separated in a matter of time.
A mother, with tears on her eyes, waves goodbye
To her daughter who will experience the world on her own.
A father is patting his son's shoulder
And pull him closer and said "I love you, son!".
Smiles are being worn by these four friends
For they're all excited to relax and have fun!
A guy who's sitting in the corner with a phone on his hand
Is talking to his sick mother and tells her he's coming home.
And as for me, my bags are all packed
And as a matter of fact
They're all being checked in and
Now I'm sitting here by Gate 23
Waiting for my departure.
I'm now leaving on a jetplane!
I'll be in my lover's arms few hours from now!
