Grandmother
A wandering eye
There is a spy
Looking at
My ears to pry.
Lurking in
The field's cool doubt
Locking in
there's no way out.
Seated in
This hand of mine
Chalking stories
Heart's divine.
Looking in
This sea of grass
Sitting in
My world of brass.
Softly seeking
In the dusk
Smoothly, dimly
As I must.
Broken or
In this due time
Slitting secrets
That are mine.
Drinking in
This cup I hold
As Ideas
Come and go.
Waiting in
This path I seek
Driving upward
Going deep.
