    Toll

     Many wonders
    of today
    I think of you
    I wish to say
    I want to know you
    Give me just
    another chance
    although I know
    I don't deserve it.

    Let me know
    all of those feelings
    kept inside
    into your world
    I see you hide
    behind these walls.

    I see your mouth is moving
    but I cannot hear
    I wish to call
    My puzzle falls
    into thin air
    disjointed pieces
    of despair.

    I miss you mostly
    What's become
    of empty holes
    Inside your spirit
    Knowing softly
    What you do has taken toll.

    Your rhymes are not typical but really good in this poem... the way you break from the normal form of rhyming at the end of the lines... you do so, as if in mid-sentence and it has a strong effect for me... especially 'my puzzle falls into thin air' describes the unknowing, the lapse of communication... and your last verse really leaves This Reader with ponderings of your questions for your intended person-friend... "empty holes inside your spirit" is amazing, and is only exceeded by "knowing softly" ... and without fanfair, you strike with loaded pen, leaving your mark in my mind...

    when a poet makes it all look like its easy is a sign of pure natural talent....the kind one is born with......thats the kind of talent you have.....your poems will one day be quoted often and studied. perfection my friend.
