I can't always comprehend... The lack of time we have to spend
Upon this earth to realize... To be ourselves before we die
I can't always recommend... That broken hearts need to mend
Look into the other's eyes... To grasp a view of your desguise

To know yourself you must know the truth
Is what you say in control of you?
Do you speak so much that you need proof?
To be yourself you must speak truth

I don't always understand... Is what you say at your demand?
Take a look and you will find... Drunken lips speak a drunken mind
I don't always have a plan... Queen of hearts, sleight of hand
I'm not driven but I'm inclined... To wander off deaf and blind

To know yourself is to know the truth
Is what I say reaching you?
Reality lost all of it's proof
But to be ourselves we must speak truth
