Rematch
I wish I had you lover, I wish I had your love
I dream of the hour that you gave me the shove
I think about your smile, of how you smiled at me
and daydream for awhile of how you set me free
I still gaze into your eyes even til this day
even though you shot me dead and calmly walked away
After I was hooked you hung me out to dry
you told me how you loved me but that was just a lie
Do I want your love? I wish I loved you not
for waisted days, gone, decayed I wish I had forgot
All those empty hugs, the dryness of your lips
every piece of the puzzle never seemed to fit
But still I hope you smile, I hope for mine the same
and if you come around again I'll gladly play your game.
