Routine
In the morning it starts, Get dressed in the dark, Head out to the carDid you get enough rest, Could you settle for less, & not fall apart?
You feel like a slave, You work in a cave, All for some pay
You never resist, You signed up for this, The hand has been played...
~~~
Routine through another day, Routine has a slower sway
The vibrations are real, I can feel, There must be a better way!
Routine through another day...
Routine is like jail... I want to post bail...
...Routine is a jail... And I wanna post bail.
~~~
When the day becomes night, You still don't feel right, You don't understand
You do what you can, A robotic man, But at your own hand
No matter what day, It's always the same, You're stuck in a sway
At the end of the week, That's when you seek, Your better way...
~~~
Routine through another day, Routine has a slower sway
It must mean it's real, 'Cause I can feel, There is a better way!
Routine through another day...
Routine is like jail... I want to post bail...
...Routine is a jail...And I wanna post bail.
