Teachers Of Lies

Teachers Of Lies

Dangerous are those who seem true and wise
Who say they hold knowledge but speak only lies

Well dressed with a smile, empty promises play
They want you're belief in every word that they say

They appear as a savior, a prophet, a saint
A shepard to lead his flock to their fate

All to be slaughtered, spilt blood of deceit
With each led astray a mission complete

They say they're from God, From God they are not
They preach their own word 'til the Bible's forgot

So follow your heart and stay in the light
Pray to our Lord, and hold on to Him tight

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
