Last Call
Sadness and hopelessness gathered his conciousness
deep within a dark cold place
He sat with his fear and stared deep into a mirror
but couldn't recognize his own face
He was divorced and alone, loosing his business and home
his only escape was his gun
He felt it was the end, but looked down at his friend
he first had to call someone
He placed a three digit call and spoke to the law
while his head was in a dark thick fog
He said he did his best and was sorry for the mess
and please take care of his dog
They tried to talk him down but with no one around
there was nothing more he could take
No one knows why he felt he had to die
but he chose to make his worst mistake
