    What Do I Stand For?

    Disappearing into a crowd no one sees me crying

    I'm smart enough not to show emotion; smart enough to act content

    Disappearing into a room I wish someone would help me

    I'm smart enough to not openly wonder

    What do I stand for? I keep my thoughts hidden

    What do I stand for? I pray without answer

    What do I stand for? I stab myself in the heart

    What do I stand for?...I don't know

    I'm smart enough not to open up to people

    They lie and don't care one bit. Who will tell me the truth?

    Don't cry, don't think. What do I stand for? I close my eyes. What do I stand for? Your eyes

    don't show me the answer. What do I stand for? Funny how good things come from the bad

    but they come to everyone but me.

    I look for help but I know it's a lost cause. I'm dying now- I don't know.

    She's standing there, stopping me from wondering just who I am. She's fighting

    to keep me alive. She turns to help, but I don't know if she can.

    Here I am, what do I stand for? She knows

    What do I stand for? Maybe i'm supposed to save the weak.

    What do I stand for? Maybe i'm supposed to wake the ever-sleeping.

    What do I stand for? Maybe i'm supposed to live forever.

    What do I stand for? Now I know...
