Dream
Dream that everything will be alright
we will be together,
and gaze at the stars
as we lay side by side.
We will be together
our hands entwined,
as we lay side by side
dreaming.
Our hands entwined
as I think about us,
dreaming
as though it is able to come true.
As I think about us
I dream about a place,
as though it is able to come true
but I know it is impossible.
I dream about a place
where we can be together forever,
but I know it is impossible
still never stop dreaming.
