    well i wrote this as a tribute to John Lennon..may he rest in peace and be with all the greats

    If Only...*

    f only he didn't have a gun...

    If only he didn't have a bullet...

    If only...

    you would still be writing songs for everyone to hear

    if he didn't take that right away from you

    “Give peace a chance”

    you were right that's what we needed

    I give peace a chance

    if not for anyone else for you

    not everyone gives peace a chance

    but a few do that's' what matters

    that's what will bring us a step closer to it

    people may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one

    you are too

    if only other people listened to you

    we would live in a much better place

    In a world of peace.

    I give peace trys and trys and trys.. a good write to promote it too sk8er.. I wrote a line, not really knowing who it was to.. maybe it was to Peace now that i read this.. it went... *Another shifting of the poles brings me closer to you* Write/right On!!

    absolutely beautiful. a line form one of my favorite songs mixed in with poetry from a wonderful young poet, its just great. i specifically liked the opening lines, good job. keep writing!
