    dog n lights
    dogs and lights
     
    lived in a beach shack
    with my dog molly
    barely any running  water
    took baths in the sink
    ate what was caught n trapped-
    in shallow bay's currents
    sands n mud
    - lights flickered -
     
    violent thunderstorm
    rolled through one day 
    thought we would
    blow into the sea
     
    the power went out
    days without -  but  kept
    livin there -
    the two of us
     
    the utility man
    finally arrived
    with all sorts of tall
    tales about electricity
    at the beach
     
    told him not to worry
    don't need it any more -
    learned to live without
     
    well he said
     
    "  guess it's ok
    for a man to live like this
    but we gotta get some power
    in here for your dog"

    Gosh that attitude has to be exported to the main artery of society and I say that because most of the problems we encounter is due to our not focusing on what our real needs are.......

    LOL that made me smile. Poor molly. It is nice to know that you are adaptable to the situations that arise in your life. You sound like a survivor. I am guessing this is biased on a true story. Well I am a survivor too of different circumstances. I will write about them soon.
