     to hell with the news


    junkies cant get enough
    every morning i took my fix
    had to inhale it all
    inject in from the globe
    shoot it down from acroos town.

    if i didn't know
    how could i help change
    the screwed up world?

    when i meet people
    i needed to look smart.
    " shit he really knows what
    the hell is going  on"

    my kids , employees, wife
    parents , cousins and the
    monkey in the zoo needed to hear
    the news from me

    my business will
    do better if i know
    what the hell is going on
    from corner to corner
    and deep under and out in
    space

    hit after hit
    snort after snort
    put it all in me

    - now -


    i'll change nothing
    who cares if they think
    im smart or a dumb ass
    let them all learn
    for them selves- if they wish


    i ain't changing the world
    and the news ain't helping
    me change

    this junky's off the needle .
