    the psych-cottage

    found small cottage

    to write poetry with

    my dog.

    took noting with me

    from the world

    but soon the noises

    and  human

    toys that distract

    from

    being

    slowly

    crept in like

    giant earth worms

    in the night .

    Poet, Somehow and in some way this reminds me of Rod McKuen's style. Nice personal images of what's happening at that particular moment and very personal like you just told only me. ginga

    Hi Poetography, This work soundet very familiar to me. We go to places where we think we can find the silence which we need to make our creative juisces flow. And then, after having found such a spot, the life of sounds starts to kreep up on us... Realy enjoyed reading this lovely written work! Greetings: Sammylin.

    Strange but interesting write. The title "psych-cottage" takes one on a mind trip trying to figure out why the cottage was not the haven expected. Noises of the mind would be my guess
