     shuv your oil

    a seven foot wave
    almost tore me a
    new asshole when
    i was body surfing
    in the atlantic ocean

    as my limbs got
    sand blasted
    torso  tumbling helplessly
    under monster current
    the thought
    occurred to me
    ( and i'd bet)
    that the raw power
    generated in ten
    seconds by waves
    crashing into beaches
    all across the world
    contains more energy
    then all the oil and gas
    ever sucked out
    of poor mother earth-
    burned then shot
    out from filthy pipes
    soiling clean air and water

    if you don't believe me
    go feel it for your self
    one day at the ocean
    and then  go tell
    them to shuv that oil too

    we got the power ....
