Got To Get Away
I gotta get out of this concrete jungle
and
back to the mountains
that I adore
I gotta get out of this concrete jungle
Dont think I can take it
any more
I gotta get away
from all the noise
and
all the toys
and back to the mountains
that I so enjoy
Give me sweet mountain air
golden aspen
and pine
back to the mountains
where I know
I'll be fine
what's that loud
boom boom in that car
and
just who the hell
do you think you are
it's the rythm and the beat
of the concrete jungle
Plastic people
mindless
sheeple
not one really gives a damn
each one
running their own scam
I gotta get away
from this concrete jungle
and
back to the mountains
where my spirit is free
Gotta get out of
this concrete jungle
cant you see
Clone villiages
Communities
behind iron gates
where
they think they got it made
All they really care about
is getting paid
getting paid
Dont want
this concrete jungle
to be my final fate
Got to get away
and
back to the mountains
before it's to late
memories
of long ago
foot prints
left in powder snow
by now
I think you know
I gotta get away
