    Wings of an Angel

    I didnt realize it then
    that God did send
    so many angels
    at a certain place in time

    They brightened up my life
    They calmed the sea of strife
     
    football heros of friday night
    actors,musicians,artsist,writers
    who continue to share their light


    we were all so young
    in those days
    didnt realize
    the many ways
    like foot prints left in the sands
    joined hearts,joined minds,joined hands


    I see those angels
    still to this day
    it is so plain to see
    they still touch me

    I brushed against those precious wings
    and
    those angles showed me so many things

    I am honored
    I am blessed
    this song I will sing

    I brushed against
    Angels wings


    kindness and warmth
    I recieved
    some things
    maybe hard to believe

    I brushed against
    Angels wings
