    Ties Between Us

    there are ties between us
    brothers sisters
    we are bound

    and
    we must
    show our love

    there are ties between us
    we have to show our light
    we must fight the good fight

    no more strife
    we must strive
    to preserve life


    the bond is more than blood
    more than philosophy
    brothers and sisters
    what I want you too see
    are
    the ties between us

    we have a hope for a tomorrow
    were there will be
    no more pain or sorrow

    there is one who paid the price
    His name is Jesus Christ
    so we wouldnt have to sacrifice
    our children
    our friends
    or
    all the good young men

    we can live together in peace
    if only we would release
    all the anger
    all the fear
    and
    realize just how dear
    are
    the ties between us

    so
    please take my hand
    I hope you can understand
    that there are
