Hall of memories
The Photograph of Lifetaken with the camera of my mind
photos hanging in the halls of memories
is where I can always find
Loved ones
having fun
distant places
familiar faces
many gone now
but
this is how
they are still with me
in the hall of memories
I return to see
who I was
and
where I have been
and
I think to myself
I would do it all over again
one jot
one tittle
one change
just a little
and
You wouldn't be here
sharing these memories
with the one
you hold dear
the road is long
but
seemed to be traveled at light speed
one thing I need
is you
took a long time
to get over the tragedy
of ,when mom was taken from us
to soon
I can no longer peer into the fire
but
I can see her
in the light of the moon
in the hall of memories
there I see
I look with tearful eye's
with a tender smile
there I think I will sit
for a little while
in
The hall of memories
