    Mend This Broken Heart of Mine

     He reached into
    the sea of humanity
    saw I was drowning
    in my own tears

    He said
    dont fear
    I am here

    oh, I think it's time
    to let His love
    mend this broken heart
    of mine

    with no problem
    and
    a warm smile on
    His face
    put His arms around me
    and
    saved me from
    my own disgrace

    told me
    everything will be fine
    if
    I will only allow
    His Love to mend

    this broken heart
    of mine

    I gentle reminder that we are never alone, and there is always someone who hears you when you pray and cry. To bad for most of us we have to be at the bottom of the barrel to look for it. Wonderful poem, refreshing style, not too over the top in the religious sense. Write on.....
