    Grit

    Takes a lot of couarge
    takes a lot of grit

    to know when to
    keep on keepin on
    or
    to know when to
    quit

    better to be calm and peaceful
    than to be angry and throw o fit

    Patience,determination and grit
    dont come in abox
    they dont come in a kit

    truth,honor and pride
    arnt neatly pakaged
    or are they fancy knit

    pioneer spirit
    knowledge and wit
    to keep yourself
    out of the pit

    Takes a little talent
    maybe just a bit
    but it takes a whole
    lot of
    Grit

    Will take you down the long and
    winding roads of life
    Will keep your paths lit

    All you need is
    Grit

    How I loved that movie and I read your song without looking at the picture at first and it made me think of true grit. Great write.
