Take Me
Take Me
take me down to the water
let me feel it
run over me
let me feel
the coolness
of refreshing
the happiness
that flows
is clear to see
most of my life
has seemed like a dream
and I stood outside watching it
go drifting by
I can still see
all the faces
and the tear soaked eyes
feel Him with mornings first light
feel Him in the twilight
of the night too
hear Him with mornings first light
telling you that HE
Loves you
hard to look for a new world
we failed to make the old one right
take me out to the prarie
let me hear the meadowlarks
sing
and
the quail fly by
let me hear the sound
of coyote and wolf
let me hear
the wild cry
want to hear the mountain streams
as they run to sacred ground
want to hear the thunder of the falls
crushing all the unjust laws
in the dream that I saw
feel Him with mornings first light
feel Him in the twilight
of the night too
hear Him with mornings first light
telling you that HE
Loves you
hard to look for a new world
we failed to make the old one right
Take Me
I have seen the light
Take Me
spirits flight
Take me
