    HARD TO SAY GOOD-BYE
    THERE WAS AN EMPTY LONGING FOR LOVE THAT I THOUGHT ONLY YOU COULD SATISFY. I THOUGHT YOU WOULD SUPPLY LOVE THAT WOULD AMPLIFY AND NEVER DIE.

     I WAS IMPAIRED BY DECEITFUL CHARM, YOU MADE ME BELIEVE THERE WAS A "YOU AND I". MY EVERYTHING IS WHAT I GAVE, TO KEEP YOU NEARBY.
     
    IN RETURN YOU FEED ME LIES AND TRIED TO JUSTIFY IT WITH, "BEING A GUY". OUR LACK TO SEE EYE TO EYE, AND YOUR LAME ASS EXCUSES YOU USED TO PACIFY THE COUNTLESS TIMES YOU LEFT ME HIGH AND DRY. WHY DID I BOTHER TO TRY, WITH YOU THERE IS NO COMPROMISE.

    WITH NO MORE TEARS TO CRY, AND NO MORE ENERGY TO COMPLY.
    I CAN'T EVEN QUESTION YOUR MOTIVE AS TO WHY.

    ALL THAT IS LEFT IS MY REALIZATION, THAT ONLY I CAN RECTIFY, MY LIFE, MY LOVE, AND IT'S ONLY ME THAT I NEED TO SATISFY.

    I AM MY OWN ALLY, AND NOW I KNOW IT'S NOT SO "HARD TO SAY GOOD-BYE".

    Nice write on a hard part of life that too many go through. Been there, done that. It makes not difference male or female, games, lies and deceit hurt. Hope your life turned out ok. be well

I felt this poem from my depths...... even tho my love is for woman there is no differance really...... all said right here" I CAN'T EVEN QUESTION YOUR MOTIVE AS TO WHY." Every one has motives that we may or may not see.......... We have to have prue motives well as pure as they can be.......... great job on exspressing your feelings of how easy it can become to say good bye .......... red

    Happy New Year! Good to hear from you again, and it's good to know that you haven't lost a thing where your writing's concerned (but really, I wasn't surprised). There you are, still leveling the field with poetic TNT, and reminding us all that we have a lot of work to do to catch up. An easy 10.
