    Abuse
    Together many years. 
    Alone I have cried countless tears.
    As a child, my present was one of my many fears.
    Words left unspoken, my heart left forever broken.
    So fragile are we, how could we let our children see.
    This is not the way it was supposed to be.
    Tired of trying is always my excuse.
    Back again to accept the emotional abuse.
