    NO FAMILY IS PERFECT. 
    BUT WE SHOULD RECOGNIZE HOW IMPORTANT WE ARE TO ONE ANOTHER AND HOW WE CAN AFFECT EACH OTHER'S LIFE.
    REALIZE THAT WE WILL NOT ALWAYS AGREE AND WE ARE ENTITLED TO A DIFFERERNT OPINION. AND YOU CAN ONLY WISH THE BEST TO THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO TURN THEIR BACK ON THOSE OF US WHO CARE. IF AT FAULT SAY SORRY, AND IN RETURN PUSH THE PRIDE ASIDE AND ACCEPT AN APOLOGY.

    What is Family for

    TO HONOR AND RESPECT, THAT'S WHAT ONE SHOULD EXPECT.
    NEVER NEGLECT AND ALWAYS PROTECT.

    HELP THOSE TO STAND TALL IF THEY HAPPEN TO FALL.
    ALWAYS ANSWER A NEEDING CALL.

    NEVER TURN YOUR CHEEK ON A LOVED ONE WHEN THEY ARE WEAK.
    LISTEN WITH AN OPEN HEART AS THEY SPEAK.

    SHARE THE CONCERN AND HELP THOSE WHO STILL HAVE LOTS TO LEARN.

    WE WILL NOT MEASURE OUR LIVES BY WEALTH.
    BUT TREASURE EVERYDAY WE LIVE IN GOOD HEALTH.

    IF ANY SHOULD BICKER AND FIGHT.
    FOCUS ON HOW TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT AND TOGETHER RESOLVE THE TROUBLSOME PLIGHT.

    IF SOMEONE SHOULD CARRY A HEAVY LOAD, OFFER A HAND, BECAUSE YOU TOO MAY NEED ONE DOWN THE ROAD.

    LOVE THEM AND THEY WILL KEEP YOU LIKE NO OTHER. THROUGH GOOD AND BAD, THEY WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER.

    RICH OR POOR, HERE FOR YOU WITH AN OPEN DOOR.

    Wow, such a great poem. You are so right, and your words need to be shared all who forget about how important our families are. We forget that our family is the seed from where we stem from, and our relationship with our families should be cherished. Excellent poem.
