Love's Chore
All she ever wanted, what she needed,
was to feel like the things she did mattered.
Once in awhile, hug her tight. Let her know she
makes everything alright. Kiss her cheek and just
say, "Thank You." Tell her, "I love you for everything
you do." Do something nice for her out the blue.
Listen to what she has to say, hear her point of view.
Just to show you care for all that she does with no
reminding will keep her smiling.
With pride and tender care she will keep doing all those
little things that mean so much. She will give it her special
touch. It feels good to be needed.
That's all she ever wanted.
