    NEVER ENDING DISTRUCTION

    HERE WE GO AGAIN.

     

    YOU HAVE RELEASED THE BEAST WITHIN.

    FOR YEARS THIS IS THE WAY IT HAS BEEN.

    UNFORTUNATELY, THIS IS THE TALE TO TELL OF YOU AND ME.

    AGONY IS EASY TO ACHIEVE.

     

    SOME ONE'S HEART ALWAYS BREAKING.

    WE CONTINUE THE HURT, AS IF WE ARE BECKONING THE ACHING.

    THE MONSTERS THAT WE ARE, NO CARE AS TO WHO WILL SUFFER.

    BLINDED BY OUR ANGER, WE WELCOMED THIS EMOTIONAL DANGER.

    UNABLE TO SEE THIS IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE WE ARE MAKING.

    UNAWARE OF THE RISK WE ARE TAKING.

    UNCONSCIOUS OF THE FACT, IT IS OUR LOVE WE ARE FORSAKING.

    WE QUESTION, IS THIS WORTH FIXING?

    Harrowing piece, Word Mistress. This reminds me of the faintest taste of a Grimm fairy tale, seasoned with experience and sorrow, and cooked to perfection over a searing sense of helplessness and fear amidst the anger. Another in a very long line of incredible poetry, my lady. You are teaching me something new with every word I read.
