Your Buddies, Your Pals
This one or that one. Someone always seeking
you out for some fun. With a drink in hand
you know your the man. Any excuse for a get
together, or a quick get away. With the kids
at home is where I stay. I don't even know
which role I play. With your friends till
the end, while I sit alone with a broken
soul to mend. To speak of my pain, is to
only complain. Your family is pushed aside,
our feelings we tend to hide. The kids
already know when the Buddies, and Pals
show it's time to go. Don't bother Dad,
it'll only be no. Your going to miss them
grow. Do you only want them to remember how
sad, how you always hurt Mom and made her
mad. Ignored by the guy we call (DAD). You
drank and drank, d*** that man named Frank.
I don't even think Mom made rank.
