The Invitation
IT HAS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I HAVE HAD THIS FEELING. I TRIED TO STAY AWAY
FROM ANY POSSIBILITY.
CLOSED OFF MY HEART, TOO MANY TIMES MY WORLD HAS BEEN TORN APART. I TOLD MYSELF TIME AFTER TIME, REASON NOT WITH MY HEART
BUT WITH MY MIND.
AND HERE YOU ARE, BEING SO KIND. SHOWING ME THERE IS NOTHING TO BE FEARED,
ONLY LOVE TO BE SHARED.
HOW COULD I LOVE WHEN MY MIND IS IN CONFLICT WITH MY HEART, TELLING ME TO FORGET. KNOWING THAT LOSING YOUR LOVE
I WILL FOREVER REGRET.
THESE TEARS THAT I CRY TONIGHT BELONG TO NO FEARS I HAVE IN SIGHT.THEY ARE SHED
WITH PURE DELIGHT.
SO I TELL MYSELF I WILL NOT CLOSE OFF MY HEART'S EMOTION,
BUT WELCOME YOUR LOVE'S INVITATION.
