Offender of Love
The love I gave I thought you would treasure.
I did not know you were in it only for pleasure.
How did I endure your rash deliver?
Somehow it was easy to greet and recur.
So easily fooled and unaware.
My emotions so frail, my poor heart
could not ward off that which you set out to injure.
You had stolen my love which was pure.
There is no cure.
You may try to restore me to favor.
How could I forgive a man with such bad behavior.
A counter of sorts would require a man who is mature.
One that has learned a lesson, and who is sincere.
However…
No longer am I a prisoner of your lure.
I will never pardon you for wounding a heart so tender.
You are loves greatest offender.
