She is loved, yet unknown
She is surrounded by those who love her, yet
they really don’t know her. She feels the
love of many, but she cannot love just any.
Why must she break a heart, just to be the half
of another part?
She sees the joy in her child’s eye,
this confirms she is the knot that binds
She sees the joy in her child’s eye,
this confirms she is the knot that binds
the tie.
Bound by the love for her children.
Bound by the love for her children.
Torn by the pain in her heart. Desperate to
find the feelings of love felt long before,
locked away behind a closed door. Wondering,
could she love once more.
Her will is breaking all the time,
to crave a different kind of love
Her will is breaking all the time,
to crave a different kind of love
is no crime. Between what is given freely
and received openly, the two kinds of love
she hopes to find.
Questioning will her heart and mind ever get along,
regardless in the quest to find a good man, she
Questioning will her heart and mind ever get along,
regardless in the quest to find a good man, she
understands with her children she belongs.
