     i remember the day we met on the hill
    you took my hand and wrapped your arms around me
    the memory burns like a fire
    thats the day 
    you said you would love me forever
    love is like a dying ember
    it slowly loses its light
    your always waiting
    waiting for it to out
    and if you touch it you get burned
    love is like a dying ember 
    that will always be the day
    that i remember seeing your
    green eyes crying in the rain
    love is like a dying ember 
    it can stay lit forever
    or it can go out in just a second
    with no warning
    and his love for me is 
    and always will be
    like a dieing ember....
