     Don't drift away
    Don't leave me here
    Just hold me close
    And whisper in my ear
    Tell me you love me
    Tell me you need me
    Tell me anything
    Just please don't drift away.

    I can feel you slipping from my grip
    Touching only my fingertips
    Your voice is far away
    I need you to stay
    I need you in my life
    Please drop the knife
    Don't slip away
    I'll love you if I may

    Don't drift away
