    Running Away

     Running through the rain
    Trying to forget
    All the things
    That crowd my head
    All the memories
    One of you
    One of me
    Others of us
    The rain and tears mix
    Making it hard to see
    I run faster
    Letting the rain
    Wash over me
    I can see the light ahead
    But still I am in darkness
    I work Towards the light
    Letting the rain
    Wash the memories away
    As I get closer
    The best and worst memories of all
    Come flooding over me
    I stop, letting the rain and tears mix
    No can see...
    Until the memories too
    Get washed away
    As I come out
    On the other side
    The light is so bright
    My tears fall away
    My smile comes back
    I walk away
    From what held me back
