    After the Storm

     I stand there soaked with rain and tears
    Trying to understand everything in life
    I think back to all the memories,
    laugh and smile with the best ones
    Frown and try to forget the worst ones
    I think about everything in life
    Decide that he was the best thing that ever happened to me
    But it's time to forget him.
    Everyone looks at me like I'm crazy
    Standing in the rain laughing
    But they don't know me.
    They don't know my thoughts, feelings, or my memories
    It makes me laugh harder
    They start talking
    All this small town he said, she said
    Ain't it funny how rumors spread?
    But everything seems better
    After the storm
