My Brother's Keeper
Born of the same blood nestled in the womb,
our minds interwined at the first sight of the new world.
We are bonded by love, joined by a everlasting sheath of sheer faith,
yet we are not one.
You thrive to belittle me,
torture me with deceit
thrash me with memories of the deadly hour as time steadily creeps,
into our minds, souls, and mortal bodies, yet i cannot breathe
breathe in , breathe out, they say
Protection, indubitably, yet we say we are our brothers keeper
but who is keeping us, or are we merely observers of a higher power, living continually by a higher power.
Are we our brothers keeper.
