The times
In the middle of summerJobs appear to be scarce, people not at ease
Time to trade in that hummer
Bills and stress take us to our knees
Yet there are jobs no one will seem to take
A little under paid, but forty hours
Many ignore them, forgetting what is at stake
No path is easy as watering flowers
Resumes don't have as much say
When most are cutting back
Some places are a guaranteed stay
As unemployement is a growing mountain stack
Sit down and think
About what jobs never go away
Pushing mentally to the brink
Yet many don't even have a word to say
Restaurants usually survive like clouds in the sky
Cable will never disappear
What about the police?, they need an extra girl or guy
The pizza delivery person is always here
Not exactly popular jobs, far from a million a year pay
Puts food on the table and the lights remain on
Oh there are many ideas to say
Several in need to stumbleupon
Bankers don't get bored and did anyone say mail man?
Electricians, A/C and of never can forget heating
Can everyone forget about the party and the tan?
Correct me if I'm wrong or misleading
Common things that we all need
Much demand, yet little see the potential job source
Requiring some skill and some speed
While many skip them over again and again with little remorse
